As for house keeping/we just needed new towels, I asked the woman at the front desk about mid week through our stay how to go about getting new towels, returning used ones. When addressed the woman at the front desk just said 'oh they don't?'. The wifi is awful, we could not make any outgoing calls which at a resort on vacation I normally would not care about because we should have been able to use the villa phones. I even asked the front desk and they sent someone to sweep the deck. The pool was covered in sand from the previous guests, it was never cleaned (the paperwork said the pool would be cleaned Mon, Wed and Fri no one ever came). I’ve paid over $2,000 for 4 nights in this place and as a very minimum I expect the room to be cleaned. Now forgive me if this is too much to expect, but we had better service from our mediocre room on IDrive. My room has been serviced during the day but my daughters’ room not done. We left for dinner slightly concerned about who might be able to let themselves in our room though. Leave the room to go for dinner and something made me ask my husband to check our door bands. 10 mins or so later someone comes to our room asking our name, not overly apologetic for this oversight and embarrassment. I waited patiently and in the end accepted no can do but a room had come up a bit sooner than our original room (still no water View but we had checked in early so we’re just glad to get in a room) All good - nice spacious room, very clean, fridge, balcony(overlooking car park ) started unpacking, I’m semi naked when our door opens and a startled lady looks as horrified as me!
